Foriegn MACC Student Chances at Consulting or Any US Job Period

I am posting to help my GF: University: in Asia Major in Engineering + Accounting Macc- at an unranked accounting program but T20 MBA b school. Also took some classes at another university in the U.S. Decent B school but nothing amazing. 3.7 GPA Mostly ACC classes. No real work experience. Some summer analyst jobs..... She needs to get sponsered for a H1B Visa.

What do you think her game plan is other than marrying me. ( Im a us citizen) lol What do you think her chances of getting a job in the U.S.. are?

Thanks in advanced....

i think its a long-shot, though a boutique may give you a look. You need to get some descent work experience...give it a shot though and see what happens.

cold calling is probably worth it - good to network and they may be able to pass your resume on to HR. Be prepared for an interview / interview-type questions when you call them though. Be prepared to tell them why banking, especially because your background doesn't seem like it is leading into banking (where's the work experience, top school credentials, etc.)

Cold calling may not get you a job, but could help get your foot in the door and get to the next step.
