FP&A (or is it F&BM) upside at BB
Howdy,
I'm likely looking at an offer at the AVP or VP level (to be hashed out) at a bulge bracket bank. This role supports S&T FO for a specific (important, not repo or something) asset class. I left the same bank about 2 years ago.
What do you think of the upside here? My understanding is that responsibilities include budgeting and prioritization for initiatives across MO&BO, program management of those, and business review.
I am looking for a new job in general, so comparing this to my current gig imo is not too important. I think the role and responsibilities would be enjoyable for me, it's just a question of whether there seems to be big upside & growth. People talk about these jobs being CFO or COO track down the road one day which is obviously desirable. I have never worked in FO directly and am not particularly seeking those roles.
