France : Choice of Master's degree and probability of admission

Hi everyone! I'm currently trying to select which Master's degree to apply to. My goal is to get into midcap M&A boutique or PE. My profile: Bachelor's in Business Adminsitration from EDHEC Business School. Around 3.2 GPA (not 100% sure about the conversion but it seems correct ~12.35/20) 3 months internship in Company valuation in a fintech & 6 months internship in a Midcap M&A boutique in Germany (Munich). Another 6 months internship in a Midcap M&A (maybe Alantra,Avolta Partners, EdR, Hottinguer…) before starting my Master. Head of Sponsorship of my student office, a bit of volunteering on the side (Founder of a charity). The programs I am currently considering are: - Sorbonne’s Master finance or Master Management Financier/stratégique - Dauphine’s Master 224 / Master 268 / Master 225 - Sciences Po Paris’s Master Finance et stratégie - Sciences Po Strasbourg’s Master Corporate Strategy & Finance - Sciences Po Strasbourg’s Master finance d’entreprise et pratique des marchés financiers - HEC Lausanne’s Corporate Finance Thanks everyone for responding !

For me Sorbonne is definitely the worst one, the prestige of Sorbonne has disappeared a long time ago

Thanks you, I want to work only in France, Switzerland or Luxembourg. Then I will try to enter Sciences Po

Agreed with the above, I would target Dauphine 225 and ScPo FinStrat from your list. Maybe worth applying to Masters in Finance at HEC/ESCP ?

FYI, my school (French target) translates 12.35 to a 3.2/4.0 GPA. Hope that helps and feel free to PM for if needed

Oh ok, thanks. I really don’t know how grades work in USA. I just convert on internet.
