Fresher looking for M&A jobs
I am an MBA student graduating in May 2018 and looking to transition from IT industry as a software engineer to begin my career in Finance. My particular area of interest is Valuations and M&A and am open to relocating anywhere as long as the job is challenging. I am currently feeling lost as most of the job openings looking for some finance experience which I do not have. I will be grateful for any pointers or leads to job openings. Thanks in advance.
It may seem like backtracking but if you have 0 work experience you'll probably have to seek a pre-MBA internship or FT positions. Perhaps some firms will take you for an MBA internship if you prove you've started learning on your own and you know your MBA out of the park.
