From PE internships to IB

Hi all,

For the general context, I live in a continental Europe country and I did 1 internship in M&A and 3 others in PE (it must seem like a lot for Anglo-Saxons but it's kind of common in my country).

The thing is that getting a job in PE directly after your Master's degree is not an easy thing so I'm thinking about working in IB for 2 to 3 years and then make my move to the buy-side. So far so good since I have 2 years of internship experience, but I fear that peoples will think when looking at my resume that I don't actually want to do IB (which is kind of true actually, I would rather directly go to PE like a lot of people) and that I would quit whenever I can and ask me about why I want to work in IB after 3 internships in PE. Does anyone have any suggestions about what could I say if they asked me this kind of question ?

Thank you!
