From Undergrad to Management Consulting - How to do it?

Hi all,
I'm going into my Senior year at a Small LAC and will have 3 internships on my resume, including one in corporate strategy and another with a midsize Investment Management company, also a few student leadership roles. When it comes time to apply for entry level, I'm looking to apply to anything from a midsize MC firm to a large firm like LEK or BCG.
I'll be honest, because that's what will get me to the next level, I don't think I'll get from undergrad to MC right away, but my question is: How should I do it? If you're not the cream of the crop student coming from a top tier Ivy, what's the best way for me to get into Management Consulting? I'll eventually have the option of starting off entry level with the Investment Management company, but what are the steps to take after that point? Should I go for a designation like CFA or otherwise? I am also considering a Master's of Economics for Econ Consulting.
Thank you all so much for your help, it means a lot!
