FT Recruiting from DCM to M&A/Coverage Group
This summer I will be interning at a top non-BB bank in DCM. Even though I will be working hard to get that return offer, I am pretty sure that I will partake in full time recruiting for a role in M&A or in a coverage group. Is there anything y’all would recommend me to practice, know, or train in to get the FT offer in the group that I want? Any Help would be great.
Genuine question but why did you go into DCM if you haven’t started and already don’t like it?
Placement process didn’t go the way that I wanted it to. I knew what I was interested in and i knew I wanted the exit opportunities. DCM does not fit either of those things for me.
Would it not be easier to switch groups internally?
bump. Some other threads say that it's doable after 1-2 years as a full time analyst
