FT Recruiting - Timing of hiring?

Hey Everyone,

I am going to be applying FT to banks this summer and I am a bit confused as to the timing of the hiring. Some firms seem to be conducting interviews at the end of the summer, some in the fall... etc. Is there a standard for FT recruiting or no? SA timing was pretty structured across the street. Thanks!

Is the Fall recruitment period specifically targeted to current students or can recent graduates (last May) be able to secure interviews with banks during this time as well?

Thanks

Recent graduates can apply as well (I was in that position last year). If you get first rounds, they'll likely ask you why you're applying "late" and what you've been doing, so make sure you have a well thought-out answer.
