GE vs IB for FT 24

Currently interning at a GE firm (on lower end of growthcap top 30) and love the space/team. Would like to go into GE and/or potentially VC long-term. Pending return offer, I am currently contemplating pursuing IB FT opportunities, specifically in TMT/tech. Given macro conditions and competitive space, not sure the success rate, but have seen/heard that banking may provide better foundation and exits for firms of "higher prestige" than the firm I am currently with.

Would appreciate any color in approaching this decision.
