General Interview Questions

I always have trouble with this question, so hopefully people could help me out with this.

  • why investment banking over private equity? Or, what's your plan for the next 5 years? Are you looking to go into Private equity or hedge fund?

  • what do you always say that catch the interviewer's attention? For example, something that always work for me is "I don't have a fancy Ivy league degree, however I have a PHD. What I meant by PHD is that I'm poor, hungry and driven. So, if you're looking for a guy that's going to do the work, then well I'm your guy."
