Getting into IBD as an international

Hello, I am an incoming freshmen at a low target (stern/ross/mcintire) as an international student. I do not have green card or American citizenship, so I was wondering how realistic it is for me to break into IBD (assuming that I do all the necessities to break in). I skimmed through some posts regards this question and it seems like I need to be the top candidate in the pool to get sponsor from banks. Therefore I honestly don't expect to break into top BBs or EBs, but would it be possible for me to break into lower BBs like CS/Barclays/UBS and MMs? I do have an H1B extension because my school puts their BBA program as STEM designation.

Thank you for your time reading this question.
