Hi everyone,
I have been invited by Glencore for a "presentation and reception evening"in London for the 1st round of the commercial graduate scheme. According to the information provided, it will start with a presentation and then a networking event with the HRs and some traders, during which the candidates have to network and differentiate themselves from others.
How would you recommend to best prepare for this event in order to be selected for the next round? Any specific recommendation, info or tips would be welcome!

I would suggest reading widely on the industry and Glencore (e.g. Financial Times) to feel comfortable speaking about it in specific rather than general terms. I've also been invited to the networking reception so I will hopefully see you there.

Glencore still hiring ? I did round 2 (traffic) with them and they brought someone internal... from Zug for the role.
My contact at Glencore says that they still run a grad program but Recruitment remains very informal. If you want to get there, send directly the resume to the line manager,
