GMAT and recruiting
As a rising junior looking for an IB internship next summer, do you think that it would be advantageous to take the GMAT beforehand simply to put it on my résumé? When do most undergrads take the test?

No, don't put it on your resume. That being said I would take the GMAT while you are an undergraduate since everything is still fresh for you and you are in the studying mindset. Once you are working you may find it more difficult to adjust back to studying plus if you are in IB you may not have the time
