Going from a top Corporate Strat / M&A team to IB?
Does anyone have any insight on this job move? Is it common? Is it even possible? This is assuming they are coming from a top team at a top company - "prestigious", if you will.
Also curious about PE, if maybe CD -> PE is more common then CD -> IB
I've seen the CD --> IB move at the analyst level. 2 years in CD out of undergrad to 1st year analyst in IB.
What about CD-> top Bschool -> MBA Associate?
