Goldman London Salaries (Technology)

Hi! I recently got offered an internship position with GS in London in the technology division and am due to start next month. I was wondering what the salaries + bonuses are like for graduates in GS London Tech? Also how they typically increase year on year? My internship package is 36K + 1K relocation (GBP). Also anyone got any insights or tips for me in this role? Thanks in advance! :)

I don't know, but lower than those who actually bring in money. Also technology in investment banking (mostly in S&T because corporate finance people don't need to be high-tech) operates almost like an independent firm within the firm. Particularly at Goldman. They used to have their own (programming) language and this cult-like mentality. My good friends went into Goldman's tech and never left. They tend to stick around for longer, much longer than most corporate finance or S&T people do.

Congratulations. From what I hear, you going into Goldman tech is like getting an offer from one of the NFL teams straight after the college (in the tech world). Now learn their way of doing things so that you don't get benched.
