Goldman Sachs middle office vs. UBS front-desk office
Goldman Sachs offers me a middle-office position in Market Risk Management.
UBS offers me a front-desk position in Fixed-Income, particularly in MBS.
Which one is better? Which one should I choose?
The base salary is almost the same. UBS pays slightly higher. But not sure about the bonus.
UBS did poorly in 2008 and 2009.
UBS is in CT, and GS is in NYC.
Front-desk. Haha.
UBS
Is this a real question? UBS is not THAT horrible, FO>MO>BO
Still boggles my mind how such dumb people can get any offers from GS or UBS in the first place.
I said it once and I will say it again. Pay no attention to the name on the card, pay attention to what you will be doing. FO>MO>BO.
.
take UBS,
