Goldman Sachs Summer Internship
Hey guys. For the Goldman Sachs summer internship, does choosing the location/subdivision determine the competitiveness? For example, locations such as West Palm Beach only have consumer and investment management and actually that doesn't seem too bad for me. I'm still exploring my options in the world of finance and consulting. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me whether or not it matters which subdivision/location you actually intern at/any experiences they've had! Thank you.
Yea NYC IBD will be more competitive than LA IBD, but there are more spots in NYC. It's just preference for location and division you want to work in. I put NYC IBD, SF IBD, and NYC GM. I will be interning in NYC next summer. Better submit the apps soon cause I know they are moving fast. Don't wait till the deadline.
Would it hurt chances for a future Goldman job in NYC if we interned at like Miami or North Carolina locations with Goldman instead of at a bigger branch?
