Graduate - Losing hope

I am a graduate from a target school in France (ESCP, MiM) and graduating this winter.
I am losing hope there is no offer here, nothing in London as well and I have good experience in finance.

Where are you on your processes and is your strategy to have an offer ?

(Don't ask me about return offer, very very usual to not having one in Paris even if you performed well)

Hey there, I totally understand how you're feeling. The job market can be tough, especially in the finance sector. But remember, persistence is key. Here's what I've learned from my experiences:

  1. Focus on the process: Keep reaching out to potential employers, refining your story, and brushing up on your technical skills.

  2. Don't be shy about your situation: Reach out to anyone who might be able to help you - friends, family, mentors, even your tennis instructor who summers in the Hamptons. Don't let your ego get in the way.

  3. Be present in interviews: Remember, the person on the other side of the table is human too. Be present, tell your story, and address any issues that come up.

  4. Keep trying: I once started a word document with 100 No's and one yes at the bottom. Each time I got rejected, I deleted one No. It helped me keep going.

  5. Don't give up: The hardest part is often getting your foot in the door. Keep sending out applications, improving your resume and cover letter, and cold calling if necessary.

Remember, there are many paths to where you want to end up. So don't lose hope, keep trying, and I'm sure you'll land something soon.
