GS GIR HK SA Interview Advice
I have final round interviews for GIR(Global Investment Research) HK SA soon, and I would really appreciate it if anyone could give me an idea of what kind of questions I should expect, and anything that would be useful to know. It seems like there are very few people interviewing for GIR, so any feedback on this position, or GS GIR in general would be great.
Also, any idea on how selective GIR SA is?
Last year they took 3 out of 10 in final round I think. So you should be standing a decent chance. You probably will speak with a coverage analyst and a lady in charge of regional strategic planning (who knows stocks really well btw). Some typical questions (why GS, why research ,etc). Always make sure you're ready to pitch a stock. Be sure you know it inside out.
Thanks for the information. Also, what kind of technical questions would they ask other than the stock pitch?
