just wondering have anybody here went through this offer approval process before GS release the offer?? Seems no matter where you position is, all potential offers need to go New York for offer approval, is that just part of the process meaning they already decided to offer, anybody can shed some light on this?
It's out of your hands, just wait a week or two and see - obviously, if you don't hear back within that time frame there's no offer. They'll call back for waitlists as well.
thanks Scandal, so u hv been through that?? I m just curious about that process as the position I applied and the whole interview process have nothing to do with NY, so not sure how big role NYC approval will play in this....

What other banks have this extended process? It seems like many banks gave offer on the last day of the summer internship
waiting is painful.........esp when the status of my application is "interview" for almost a month.............
