There was a pretty sizeable crowd with a mix of targets, semi-targets, and non-targets. I think i chose three that i was most interested in. I don't think market risk was one of them, but i had a good convo with a guy the first day who i found out worked in market risk so i guess that's why i was placed there. Anyway, i wasn't too enthusiastic about it since 1) i didn't like market risk and 2) I didn't know much about it (it's more technical stuff). Surprisingly, i had a decent first interview and got invited to the superday where i was blown away. You meet like 8ppl asking you valuation, teasers, behavior, technical market stuff (explain the difference between VaR and std) even a math question, which almost made me laugh. All in all, it was a great experience as after that interviews seemed so easy. Also, I heard from ppl that interviewed for other groups that their interviews were normal.
