Guidance in breaking into sustainable finance and impact investing

Hi Guys,

Happy Thanksgiving !!

I recently graduated with a STEM MBA Quantitative degree program, focusing on leveraging finance to contribute social impact and sustainability.

As a graduate with a background in social entrepreneurship, renewable energy and sustainable development, I'm passionate about making a positive impact in these areas.

My experience includes:

  • Developing a proprietary ESG scoring system as an Investment Research Intern
  • Focusing on clean energy projects as an Investment Research Specialist
  • Engineering an innovative solar coffee roasting machine and securing significant investments for sustainable development projects as a Social Entrepreneur

My current situation is challenging:

  • I've applied to over 2000+ jobs, facing rejections due to visa sponsorship requirements for an international student and lack of traditional investment or transaction experience.
  • My father lost his job and sold his house to support my education.
  • I have student loan repayments starting next month and I'm struggling to pay rent and afford groceries due to unemployment.
  • My STEM designation allows me to work in the US without sponsorship until May 31st, 2027.

I'm writing to seek your guidance on potential opportunities within your network that align with my skills and interests in sustainable finance and impact investing. I'm eager to contribute to research or projects related to sustainable finance, ESG, social impact, and technological innovation.

I'm praying for a miracle and hoping that your expertise in finance might lead to potential pathways.

Thank you for taking time to read this.

Happy to share my resume with you if needed.  All I need is a chance !!

God Bless !! (Matthew 19:26)
