Has anyone been a summer IBD analyst at Barclays?
Hey,
Im considering an IBD offer from Barclays and was wondering how the Sumer analyst program is at Barclays? Does anyone have some insight on it or how many interns they look to hire full-time etc.
Have they just announced a job cut in the IBD division? Wondering how will that affect FT hire. BTW, when did you interview with them?
Yeah they literally just did about 400 jobs in IB which is why I'm a little worried. But I also think its mostly senior employees that aren't producing. I'm hoping it doesn't affect analysts.
I went through the interview process about 2 weeks ago in NY
Ironically, I know for a fact that a few groups in NY are actually expanding. I think that the majority of the job cuts will take place in Europe
You get a generalist FT offer which is kind of nice as you can switch groups.
