Havent read a finance related book but follow news all the time

I havent picked up a book like 'Barbarians at the Gate' and read it for myself due to time constraints(doing the CFA program right now) and now I am wondering what would be the best way to respond to this if this comes up in an interview.

I have read Rosenbaum's book but I was wondering how would the interviewer respond to me not having read any of the great wall street books.

Also note that I have virtually no time to do anything right now-fully booked so I cant read a whole book quickly. I can Perhaps skim through the book?

What do you guys think.

Nobody will ask you about books you've read in an interview. They will ask you about what's going on in the markets.
