From April to May I am interning at firm A, but then May to July firm B, but then July to August back at firm A.
Does this look like a red flag on my resume or on a background check? Or are these kind of intern jumps common?

just stick with it as April - May and forget the 2nd half. Can still speak to what you learned and you don’t need to put it on the resume… you’re overcomplicating this.
Are you sure you can leave out the second part of the internship from the resume? I’m the future don’t they cross check actual the internship dates with the ones listed on the resume? Thanks again.
