Headhunter messaged me on Linkedin for an EA role

Basically what the title says. I am a senior at a non-target state school in the bay area and graduating in the fall. I have a 3.72 and am wrapping a nine month equity research internship at an HF, and doing WSO's SEO internship and getting access to the financial modeling courses to improve my skills. I'm also a CFA level one candidate.

The position would be an executive assistant for either an HF or VC firm to start around 80k. I agreed to an interview on Friday, but is there any upward mobility from that position? I have no intention of being a glorified secretary long term but it seems like an easy way to take the back door into an HF or VC firm (she stated both on her profile). If I take the position, is it basically a dead end or is there a chance of moving into the front office? Any success stories?
