Hey! Had a superday recently. HR called 24 hours after to let me know they received positive feedback from my interviewers, and would take a week to decide. Is this common?

Hey man, yes of course. The HR wouldn't reach out to you and tell you they heard positive feedback if it wasn't good. Usually you hear back from offers within 24-48 hours with the exception of Friday's where you will hear back Monday. Generally speaking, you should get a verbal soon, good luck!!
Yeah 100%! To me it means they want to tell you that you are getting an offer without actually saying it so that 1. you don’t sign somewhere else in the meantime and 2. they still have time to make all of their decisions

Don’t need to have fingers crossed, you will get an offer.
In my experience the only reason HR would reach out is if the senior banker says please cal x y z to keep them warm and hint they should expect an offer. They don’t go out of their way to be proactive. Trust me.
