So, do I take the banking offer which is what I initally wanted to do (super small firm, small deals) or do I take the big tech FP&A with great people & benefits but maybe a slower salary progression? Any advice, insight, or anything at all would be appreciated.
Sounds like really you want to go with the tech deal, and honestly by the sounds of it I’d be tempted too.
I think you’re gonna have to look inwards for the answer here, what are your real end goals and your priorities?
As you say, you could basically get to the same end point with either route, one path just might look slightly different to the other.
So on balance, what’s your preference?
I think big name tech would be incredible for your personal branding. You can prob recruit for MM banks for FT if you know technicals
