Help - SA 2022 Recruiting

Hi everyone. I didn't think I wanted to go into IB(hopefully consumer/retail group) until very recently. I'm a sophomore at a target school who has very basic accounting and finance knowledge, just bought the Rosenbaum IB textbook and looking to do some heavy studying over the next couple of months along w some other resources. Is there any advice anyone has on any next steps I should be taking in regards to networking/applying? Is it too late to start recruiting? Thanks for any input and advice!

Yeah, next couple of months will be two late. Buckle up and get done with the fundamental technicals in a week or two at max. Also that’s just one side of the equation. You have to network to get opps so start reaching out to alums ASAP. Networking and studying for techs aren’t exclusive so you can do both. The way I would go about networking is to look at banks that haven’t started interviews yet and reach out to folks there.
