Help with Corporate Finance Exit Opps/Career Transition
So I am currently in a FLDP as a Corporate Finance Analyst for US Bancorp. Failed recruiting into IB and ended up taking this role.
2.5 years with 3 different rotations. I got placed within Accounting and SEC Reporting for my first 10 months which started in June. Other rotations will be treasury roles of my choosing.
I am looking to get into a business line or something more market/client focused. (Ex: Private Banking, IB, Corporate Banking etc).
I am trying to decide on whether I should continue with this program and try and internally get into one of USB business lines, or exit as early as I can with any other job I can get that is a business line. I do not want to do corp fin at all, but just looking for general tips on how to get into a business line as someone who already graduated college. Will this experience even help? or will I have to get an MBA to transition. I would appreciate any advice
