Do investment banks ask for high school GPA/Transcripts when applying for a summer analyst position?

Just went through the background check process at a BB and wasn't asked for either. Might be bank dependant though so don't know for sure.

Just did background check for DB and they asked for it.
Do they care how high it is as long as it is reasonable (3.7 for example)?
They don't care about your HS GPA, they just ask for it in order to proof you went there
