This internship likely won't matter and most people will assume you didn't do any meaningful work. Focus on networking and getting an internship for Freshman and Sophomore summer. If you can work at a place through a family connection, go for it but don't stress too much

Intern at a Rita's water ice or a landscaping company like the rest of us! Jokes aside, it will be difficult to land any sort of internship given your age. Exhaust all of your options from your friends to family and just be persistent in learning whatever you can (but don't beg). I've seen some bulge bracket banks offer insight days for high school students that might be helpful for someone in your shoes.

could you point me towards the ones you've heard of that offer this?

I can't recall off the top of my head but I believe UBS had an insight day a few years back. It is definitely not a regular thing for them to host these sorts of events but I would check all the bulge bracket banks regularly.
