High schooler looking for search fund internship
Hey guys. I'm a HS student based out of SF with a background in finance and tech through a few internships. What do you guys think is the best way for me to find a search fund internship for this summer (besides posting on searchfunder). Thanks in advance.
Reach out to the managing partner at Desert Springs Capital on LinkedIn I believe they are looking for summer interns currently.
Thanks!

Ok buddy
You have a background in finance and tech as a HS student?
Working in m&a division of a mid sized telco company and founded an edtech startup
Dude wtf when I was in HS i wasnt doing shit and I just landed an EB SA 2024, relax LMAO

See comments above hahaha
NextGen Growth Partners might give you a look. I've seen I think freshman/sophomores summer there.
Would be unpaid.
Thanks man
Chillax bro. You'll be burned out by the time you're 22.
Just because you "interned" at your dad's company doesn't mean you have experience.
I'd try and relax a little bit and enjoy life before you have a real job and realize you missed out on growing up.
Lol, dad is a scientist
The hilarity of this is that you and I will end up on the same spot.
I spent most of HS messing with friends, chasing girls, playing sports etc.
You don’t need to do this to get a job as an IB analyst… lmao
First, i enjoy learning. I have a balance of all the things you’ve listed.
Secondly, if I end up at a semi-target, I’m sure something like this would help, as it would help me secure a good internship freshman year summer that ends up helping for IB.
You’re a loser, I’m sorry dude…
But yeah - I’m sure you (a 17yo) knows better than me, an actual banker giving you advice.
The number of internships you’ll have will be irrelevant; you will 100% fail the airport test unless you lighten up and enjoy yourself a bit more.
Understood. Just want more experience/I enjoy working on these types of projects. But don’t think I’d fail an airport test. I captain my schools football team and get it in on the weekends.
