Secondly, if I end up at a semi-target, I'm sure something like this would help, as it would help me secure a good internship freshman year summer that ends up helping for IB.

The number of internships you'll have will be irrelevant; you will 100% fail the airport test unless you lighten up and enjoy yourself a bit more.
