its not all about gpa. i am in 3.0-3.4 range and have several interviews lined up. if your 3.9 Triple Major has no work experience or leadership, then its no surprise he didnt get an interview.
if all of those guys have BB names on their resumes and interesting leadership positions on campus then id be much more surprised

I have a 4.0 and multiple finance internships. Only got half first round interviews, two superdays, no offers. :(
I agree with Pedigree Monkey. I have similar stats, non-target, and have interviewed at every BB, as well as some elite boutiques.
This year is going to be really tough, just have to keep your head up and only worry about the things you can control. For those of you that had multiple interviews/superdays but didn't get an offer, it means that you look good on paper but your interviewing skills aren't up to par--work on that. Good luck.
Well, to throw myself in there, I am in the 3.0-3.3 range (sciences major) with good work experience in finance and excellent on-campus stuff and have gotten zero interviews. Luckily, I'm going back to the place I interned last year.
I've had 3 interviews and two companies cancel interviews on me and no offers.
Out of those, the 3.9 Finance/Poli Sci/Comm triple major is probably the only one worthy of the interview in this market.. I hope he got all 3
