How can I found out if I have been blacklisted?
Hey everybody, It has recently come to my attention from an acquaintance of mine that a mutual acquaintance (who has a "senior position" in a well-known financial institution), with whom I had a disagreement due to different opinions, boasts of having me on the blacklist of this institution. Clarifications: - This is in Europe (London office/Frankfurt office). - This person has a more HR related role on the Asset Management side while I am focused on IB. - His/her claims are unsubstantiated (what I know for a fact). - There is no underlying romanticism in this story (thanks god). Can I force the institution to tell me if I am blacklisted? Should they disclose that information if requested? In case they don't want to disclose the blacklist result or they disclosurese that I am blacklisted, should I get a lawyer? Because I know that the accusation is unfounded and I do not want this person to go unpunished.
There is no blacklist, your friend has no power.
Toll for this info is for you to tell us what you did to this person that they have such a vendetta against a student 😭
