How can I make the best of my situation?

I’ve started an internship at a search fund as a Sophomore as I didn’t have anything else going on so far or for this summer. I go to a non-target with a so-so gpa of 3.55/4.00 and I want any guidance on where to go from here. I’m a bit discouraged but I still want to be realistic about my options regarding Investment Banking or Private Equity. Is it too late for me to be looking for 2025 internships? Is this lackluster internship as good as nothing? I’m honestly a little lost and I have nowhere else to turn to for advice. It’s not the end all be all for me, but it would be really disappointing to know I don’t have a chance in the industry.
