How cooked am I?

Had only one interview after non-target networking, and kind of shit the bed w/ Santander LA. Nothing else in the works, should I throw in the towel and look elsewhere? Or is there still hope. (Class of '27)

I should have edited my initial post- is recruiting for LMM much different than that of other banks or is it usually dependent on the bank? I’ve had coffees w/ some LMM ones but not sure what the process looks like apart from the main boutiques and bbs.

LMMs are the Wild West, especially the really small shops (10-20 employees). Pay is generally less and the experience varies tremendously from basically well run transactions albeit at smaller scale to parodies of a functioning bank. Recruitment is going to be ad hoc and networking with MDs/Partners is key. I’ve known folks who have gone down that route and have done well. There are simply far more LMM targets and that means more opportunities.
