How do I increase chances as international - Masters or recruit abroad?

I am an international at a semi-target. A professor who helps with IB recruiting here said I will be better off considering either:

  • Masters in Finance right out of college to get a 3 year OPT extension

  • Try to recruit for foreign offices (London, HK) which may be more lenient with visas

Which way should I prefer and what should I be considering? Are there any other options to increase my chances?
