How do referral links work?
Can’t seem to find a clear answer anywhere on this. Banker told me he would refer me. He said he would send me a link to apply. Then I got an email from the Bank, subject line “Banker thinks you would be a great fit for this role at Bank”. Email says “You have been referred as a candidate for..” etc. with job postings from the website. And when I click on them, they look like every other job posting. So how do these links actually work? Is it the same as a normal application but it will show up as a referral?
you make an account with the email he referred you with and it shows up as flagged once the app is submitted thru taleo/oracle. In reality this means nothing to hr unless it’s a senior banker, so i’d make sure to stay top of mind so he gives that extra nudge for you when interview roundtables occur and they send the hard lists to hr for your school
