How do you follow up if there was no response to your networking email?

At a lot of banks, there might only be 1 person from my school in the IBD. If they don't reply to my initial email after a week or two, is there a polite way to follow up? This is for SA btw

reply to the initial email saying you're following up to see if they have time to talk this week. Keep it to 1-2 sentences. If they don't reply to your follow up you could try one more time, but definitely move on after the second follow up. You can also reach out to other people at the bank-- just try to find something in common (both student athletes, same fraternity/sorority, similar prior internship, similar interest, both non-targets from same region, idk)
