How does Internship Recruiting Work
How does internship recruiting work at a target university? What internships are the better ones and what ones aren’t relevant to banking. By researching LinkedIn pages I haven’t found a certain pattern in internships before IB internship. It seems that all the internships are the same. I’ve noticed in some cases that some people intern sophomore summer at a MM bank then junior year that helps them land a bb internship. Any response is appreciated, just trying to learn. TIA
If you’re optimizing for banking recruiting, “better” is whatever is most relevant + most prestigious.
Would my school help with finding internships or would I have to network and cold email for opportunities?
