How Does On Campus Recruiting Work?
I'm going through an OCR process with a firm. My first round (after the resume drop) was with all senior-level alums.
The superday, though, didn't have any alumni. Do the alum (high level execs) from the first round have any say in the superday interview/offer decision making? Or are their OCR jobs done after we got past the first round?
If someone can give me an interviewer's perspective I'd really appreciate it!
Barclays?
OCR gets you a superday. It's really just a screen so that you don't waste your school's superday spot.
People from your school largely have no pull after that unless they interview you in the superday, but that depends on the bank. Why would they? Almost every school would have plenty of alumni pelting the interviewer with requests to pull their students in.
If a senior level exec (in the OCR team) vouches for me, do you think he has much say into who gets offer or not?
