How do students in second year college have such experience? I mean, do they start working in finance before college? I am a prospective student, but people who get accepted into the program are beasts... no way i can compete with people with 2~3 finance experiences....

They could be older students. Also, Desautels Capital Management is part of the school. Its pretty much a student run investment club. If you ignore it as professional experience it looks about right for average experience.
