How long after joining is it appropriate to lateral?
Soonest I’ve seen is 1 Year and a few months BB to EB ASO. Anyone else have some tacit guidelines for this?

I’ve seen 6 months. Guy joined MM as an analyst 2, got associate promote, and bounced shortly after to a BB.

In his defense the team sucked. I only made it 5 months and since we started last July all the 1st years have lateraled.
Does the new shop question your motives when lateraling that quick? I always wondered if I need to prepare a rock solid rationale
