How Long Should You Wait Before....
Hey All,
How long exactly should one wait before following up with an email after an informational interview. Talking about at all levels in MBB plus others--Partners, Associates, Recruiters, etc.
I've had about 10 calls thus far and always follow up the day after (usually first thing in the morning) drafting my emails the night before. I always include a regard for taking the time to chat, highlight something from our conversation that stood out to me and close by asking to stay in contact if it wasn't afforded during the initial call.
Is this a good strategy or should I wait a bit longer before following up? Also after the initial follow up, how much longer should I wait in between follow ups if I want to maintain the relationships (esp with those higher ups)?
Best and thanks in advance!
I wait 2-3 weeks, should do this till sept, then make your ask (thats what i'm doing)..
2-3 weeks before the initial follow-up or after the initial? Seems like a long time if it's initial...but I mean that's why i asked the question..
