How much does my resume matter once I make it to an interview?

I don't have any non-club finance experience (working on fixing that, though I doubt I'll be able to land a sophomore internship before the bulk of SA2026 apps open). However, I've had a lot of great networking calls where people have promised to push my resume without me even asking. If I can somehow make it into the interview process at my firms of interest, will my lack of past/incoming experience still be a hindrance? Will being able to tell a good story (which I'd like to think I have) be good enough to make up for that?

You didn't really say what positions you're interested in or applying for. IB is generally going to require a high GPA.

Applying IB and Rx. GPA is not an issue; 4.0 math major

Wow bro yeah if you get the interview you should be fine unless you don't majorly F it up. 4.0 in math is genius.

Haha trust me I'm nowhere near as smart as that makes me sound, just have some very particular circumstances that allowed me to make that happen

How does one have "some particular circumstances" which lead to a 4.0 math GPA?
