How persistent should I be?
I am a senior in college, and had the chance to intern on a buy side equity trading desk last summer. Through that internship I met many people whom I have had informational interviews with (mainly guys on sell side desks). I have given them my resume, sent a follow up thank you email etc. etc. My question is: how persistent should I be in terms of contacting them (ie. emailing) and reiterating the fact that I want them to consider me for any job openings? Does anyone have suggestions in the way I should word my emails in a way that is suggestive but not totally blunt? Thank you.
its a very fine line you have to walk...you have to show your interest/desire without being annoying/desperate. did they tell you that they would forward your resume/help you out? or did you just send him your resume or something along those lines? your next step really depends on what type of interaction you have had with them thus far...
