How to answer: “How risk averse are you on a scale of 1-10?”

Is there a correct answer for this specific interview question? Does the answer change if interviewing for IB vs PE? Both seem like risk adverse roles but is it bad to come off as risk adverse?

You didn’t state what 1 means and what 10 means.

Is 10 very risk averse or is 10 not risk averse at all?
