How to get the job you want when you don't get along with the people

Hi,

I am considering to move teams at my bank, so I went to talk with the people of the team I want to work for.

Most of them are nice. However, there is one person who does the most interesting parts in the team. That person was not particularly nice and was quite cold, even showed a j**k kind of behavior towards me even that I simply expressed interest in what they do.

I don't really care if that person is nice, I just want to do that job because it will open a lot of opportunities for me outside my bank.

How would you approach the situation in order to get the job? I don't necessarily think that I can make friends with this person, and I am not willing to pretend that I approve his way, but I still care about the job.

Thanks for your advice
