How to handle no SA Superday responses?
Two weeks ago I had a superday with a solid middle-tier firm (think RBC, Wells Fargo, Piper), who denied me but then invited me back for a financial sponsors group superday last weekend, which I attended and I felt went well. However, I found out from Linkedin that another kid got the 1 position being offered. I also interviewed at an elite PE firm's Credit internship superday the day after, and I have not heard back.
1) Will they call to tell me I am denied? The interviews were 10 and 9 days ago. I'm a bit hesitant with the PE firm, because one of the interviewers said "we'll revert back to you" after I sent a thank you email, but I know the IB one is a bust (I just do not want to close any doors). Should I start asking for interview feedback now?
2) I've pretty much exhausted the options for IB/PE besides boutiques. I started the process really late (the end of the summer) so I'm not sure if I should just try to get a lower-mid level boutique or if I should try to re-apply as a senior next year. Has anyone had experience with this?
For context, I go to an elite LAC (think top NESCAC), play football, and have a decent GPA.
